Tiger Leaping Gorge is a scenic canyon on the Jinsha River, a primary tributary of the upper Yangtze River. It is one of the top 10 famous hiking trails in the world and part of the Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan’s Protected Areas. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Haba Snow Mountain stand on each side, offering beautiful and diverse landscapes in this "ecological hotspot". The High Trail is the main path in the canyon, which is frequently used by hikers and local people. The dramatic scenery along this path takes you through the rural villages of the Naxi people, making this a very enjoyable and cultural nature hike.
