Songtsam Lodge Tacheng

Songtsam Lodge Tacheng is located among QIBIE village and HADA village while those two villages sit on a bench terrace on the northern bank of the LAPU river’s valley.
This area, richly endowed by nature, is a famous land of plenty in the northwest of Yunnan province.
What’s more, this area, with abundant products, is rich in fruits and vegetables all year round.
Natural conditions make Tacheng a more natural and seasonal diet.
Specifically, meals of Songtsam Lodge Tacheng are cooked by local chefs, while all food ingredients are planted in the lodge’s vegetable garden or surrounding villages.
In general, Songtsam Lodge Tacheng’s meals are healthy home-made style which maximizes the original flavor of ingredients.

A CHEF'S INVITATION

Grilled rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss)

The rainbow trout , farmed in alpine lakes, is grilled after smearing with salt, black pepper and olive oil, which coming out with the tender meat and crispy skin.

Steamed egg with dandelion leaves

Wild dandelion leaves along ridges, which has the function of "heat-clearing and detoxifying, are steamed with eggs after cleaning and cutting up. This dish would offer you with fragrance and smoothness.

Home-made ham of Tacheng village

Choosing the ham made by villagers for more than one year, the chef cooks it thoroughly in the whole then slices it.
The cooked ham shows a bright red color with the transparent fat on the surface.
The local ham has a special flavor which is tasty.
